Brief history on aba –oyo village
Aba-oyo was once a hamlet village after akure, the settlement came to be about twenty years back when the villagers settle down in the village and they named it aba-oyo which literary means village for oyo people, they claims they are indigenes of old oyo town and migrated to the place and ended up settling down there.
Aba-oyo men are mostly farmer, they grow both cash and food crops, a few of them happens to learn hade-made-crafts as for their women are trader; they sell farm products in market places in akure and neighbouring town market
Aba-oyo is bless with rich landscape very good for farming.
Today aba-oyo houses about two hundred people and has a primary school with a fairly motor-able road with few modern house with no electricity supply
The indigenes claims to have interesting lifestyle and enjoy the natural landscape coupled with fresh fruits and vegetable to eat anytime of the day.
